Cyclocross Skills Clinic

Guaranteed to be the most fun you will ever have racing a bike! I’ve participated in a variety of races and I would have to say Cyclocross is one of my favorites. This is such a fun event for the athletes and fans!

The Cyclocross races begin in September and there is a Challenge Series race in November. To get ready for the season, there will be a clinic to learn more about these events and to practice some of the skills required. If you have a mountain bike, you’ll pick up some skills and have fun while at it. Bring a friend!!

Where: Hap Magee Ranch Park in Danville

When: Thursday, September 10th at 6:15pm

Hosted by: John Walters and Ken Mejica

If you aren’t familiar with cyclocross, checkout these videos on

Hopefully, we can work up to this by the end of the clinic. 😉  Looking forward to seeing you

John Walters, Director of Cycling

2016 will be my 4th year as an FMRC Ambassador. My favorite events are those on the trails, either running or riding. I moved to the Bay Area in 1999. The people I met during the Wednesday Night Run were a large influence for my relocation. I love the FMRC community and find that there is a direct correlation between my happiness and the time I spend at club workouts, functions and the Wednesday Night Runs. Learn more about me at 
