The Fall Long Run series is open to all FMRC athletes. Our hope is that runners of all paces come out to enjoy a long run with company. No need to be marathon training, if you long run on Sundays come join us!
The Ambassador team developed this long run series using ideas from Jack Daniels’ and Hal Higdon marathon plans. This long run progression, along with FMRC Tuesday speed work and Thursday Tempo should cover the key workouts necessary to be prepared for a Fall Marathon. Please adapt this plan to your own key race, goal or fitness level. And if you have any questions about how to do that, feel free to reach out to any of the Ambassador team.
